Editorial policy
Lively Comedy Journal aims to make its explanations clear, considered and fair. We separate what can be checked from our interpretation, and we welcome corrections when we get something wrong.
Accuracy and context
We check factual claims against suitable material before publication and give readers enough context to follow the point being made. Where a detail is uncertain or interpretations differ, we say so rather than presenting a guess as settled fact.
Independence
Editorial decisions belong to the publication. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage, a favourable view or control over an editorial conclusion. We consider subjects on their merits and keep promotional claims distinct from our own analysis.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or a passage that needs clarification, contact us through the Contact page and identify the article and detail. We review the concern and, when a change is warranted, correct the text and make the nature of the change clear.
Partnerships and illustrations
Material created as part of a paid or other partner arrangement is labelled so readers can recognise the relationship. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; they are visual aids, not documentary evidence, and are identified where they appear.
